Rudi Gernreich has arrived at the Skirball in a new exhibition, “Fearless Fashion: Rudi Gernreich” as a Culture-shaking creator, activist and a human being whose time has come â some 30 years after his death (the exhibition runs until September 1, 2019 ).
Gernreich is best known as a celebrated LA based fashion designer â world famous for his “mono-kini” (a topless bathing suit for women), his 60s knits and unisex fashions.
